Abstract:
Provided is an ultrasonic atomization device that makes it possible to increase total atomization efficiency by suppressing a decrease in atomization efficiency of each ultrasonic transducer despite being equipped with multiple ultrasonic transducers. This invention is provided with: a plurality of ultrasonic transducers 2 for ultrasonically vibrating a solution; an atomization chamber 4; a plurality of liquid column tubes 9 provided above the plurality of ultrasonic transducers 2; a partition plate 15 for separating an air blowing duct 7 from a discharge duct 8; and a blower 25. Each of the liquid column tubes 9 has an inner shape in which an air blowing gap 10 is formed between the liquid column tube 9 and a liquid column 6, and includes: a lower end part which is located above a liquid level 5 and has a lower end opening part 11 connected to the air blowing duct 7; and an upper end part which has an upper end opening part 12 connected to the discharge duct 8. A carrier gas blown to the air blowing duct 7 by the blower 25 flows into each of the liquid column tubes 9 from the lower end opening part 11, separates a mist from the surface of the liquid column 6 by flowing in the air blowing gap 10, and forms a mist mixture gas and discharges the same to the discharge duct 8.
