Abstract:
An audio encoding and decoding method and apparatus. The method comprises: obtaining a set code rate of a current audio frame to be encoded and a final encoding mode of a previous audio frame, the final encoding mode comprising a first code rate encoding mode, a second code rate encoding mode, a switching encoding mode from first code rate encoding to second code rate encoding, or a switching encoding mode from the second code rate encoding to the first code rate encoding; determining a final encoding mode of the current audio frame according to the set code rate and the final encoding mode of the previous audio frame; and encoding the current audio frame according to the final encoding mode of the current audio frame. An audio sending device sends code stream information to an audio receiving device. The code stream information is parsed so as to obtain a decoding mode and an encoded code stream; and the audio receiving device decodes the encoded code stream according to the decoding mode so as to obtain a target audio frame. The sound quality of audio is ensured while complying with the limitation of the data transmission size of a Bluetooth channel.
