Abstract:
Provided is a small and light automated external defibrillator which has excellent portability. The present invention is an automated external defibrillator which comprises a power source unit 19, a high voltage generating unit 16 which generates high voltage energy on the basis of voltage supplied from the power source unit, a foldable sheet capacitor 2 which stores the high voltage energy from the high voltage generating unit, a pair of electrode pads 3A, 3B which supply the high voltage energy to a patient, and a control unit 14 which controls the supply of the high voltage energy to the patient.
