Abstract:
The present invention relates to an automated sorting system having ball boards, and according to the present invention, a sorter includes: at least one or more sorting parts, each sorting part having a ball board for mounting a plurality of ball casters thereon, cylinders located on the left and right sides of the ball board, actuators horizontally moving in a left or right direction with respect to the ball board, and direction switching frames connected to the cylinders and the actuators to switch the horizontal motions of the actuators into vertical motions of the cylinders; and a driving belt disposed under the ball boards to drive the ball casters mounted on the ball boards, whereby the goods introduced in the sorter are tilted to the left or right side, irrespective of sizes, loads, and packed states of goods, thereby allowing the goods to be sorted to given chute directions.
