Abstract:
In the present invention, a management device (130) comprises: a category acquisition unit (131) that acquires the category to which a package (200) to be stored belongs; a unit number acquisition unit (132) that acquires the number of processing units that is the number of packages (200) belonging to the same category and processed in a batch; an empty category identification unit (133) that identifies an empty category in which the number of packages (200) belonging to the same category stored by each automated warehouse is not the number of processing units or a multiple of the number of processing units; and a warehouse selection unit (134) that if there is an empty category corresponding to the category obtained by the category acquisition unit (131), selects an automatic warehouse where the corresponding empty category exists as a destination for storing the packages (200).
