Abstract:
An automatic gas cutter for both a pipe and a steel plate is disclosed. The gas cutter of the present invention comprises: a cutter body provided to move forward along the surface of a pipe or a steel plate, the cutter body comprising an upper frame capable of being held when carrying the cutter, side plates coupled to the lower portions of both ends of the upper frame so as to correspond to each other, driving wheels disposed on both sides of the bottom of each of the side plates and coupled to a shaft connecting the plates to each other, the driving wheels being connected to a fluid motor which is installed on a support plate coupled to the lower portion of the upper frame and is operated by the pressure of a fluid via a power transfer part interposed therebetween, and a torch mounting part on which a torch can be mounted and which is installed at one side of each of the side plates; a magnetic body which is self-rotatably coupled to the shaft so as to be disposed between the driving wheels, and is provided to attach the cutter body to the surface of a pipe or a steel plate by predetermined magnetic force; and an elevation member coupled to a vertical guide rod disposed at the lower portion of the upper frame so as to be able to move up and down.
