Abstract:
Provided is an automatic inspection system which is for a passenger boarding bridge, and can perform automatic inspection on a passenger boarding bridge in order to improve cooperation with people such as workers. An example of an automatic inspection system for a passenger boarding bridge according to the present invention is an automatic inspection system for a passenger boarding bridge (1) connected to a terminal building (2) and having a plurality of operable apparatuses, the system comprising: a notification means provided on the passenger boarding bridge (1); and a control device which controls each apparatus and the notification means, wherein the control device is configured such that when an inspection start command is input, the control device performs an operation test on each apparatus in a predetermined order to detect whether the apparatus has abnormality or not, and causes the notification means to provide a notification of operation test-related information to the inside and/or the outside of the passenger boarding bridge in a time period between the input of the inspection start command and the end of the operation test of the last apparatus.
