Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of patient transport and provides an automatic patient transport robot, comprising a first movement mechanism, a second movement mechanism, at least one first support plate and at least one second support plate. The second movement mechanism is suitable for controlling the first support plates and the second support plates to alternately close and open. The first movement mechanism is suitable for controlling the first support plates and the second support plates to alternately move forwards when the second movement mechanism controls the first support plates and the second support plates to alternately close and open. The present invention further provides an automatic patient transport method. According to the automatic patient transport robot and the automatic patient transport method, the time of medical workers is saved, the labor intensity of the medical workers and family members of patients is reduced, and secondary injury to a transported patient is avoided.
