Abstract:
Provided are an automatic roll-changing apparatus and method for a continuous pipe rolling mill; the roll-changing apparatus comprises a drive arm (4), a first drive (5), a second drive (7), a swing arm (8), and a support arm (9), arranged on a support member (10); one end of the drive arm is connected to the first drive, and the other end acts on a drive shaft (2) and is used for retracting the drive shaft to disengage or extending it to reset its position; one end of the swing arm is connected to the second drive, and the other end is connected to one end of the support arm; the other end of the bracket arm acts on the drive shaft and is used for holding the drive shaft when it is retracted and disengaged or extended and reset; a position detection element (6) is disposed on each of the first drive and the second drive. Also provided is an automatic roll-changing method for a continuous pipe rolling mill. The present roll-changing apparatus and roll-changing method can improve the positioning accuracy of the drive shaft, and automatic joining is possible without manually checking the shaft alignment, achieving full automation of the process of changing rolls in a continuous pipe rolling mill, shortening the roll change time and increasing production efficiency.
