Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a technology for facilitating the management of deposited bills stored in a deposit storage. [Solution] Provided is an automatic transaction device that is provided with: a depositing/dispensing unit that stores deposition cancelled bills which are cancelled during deposition, deposit rejected bills which are rejected during deposition, and dispensing bills which are to be dispensed during dispensing; a deposit storage that can store, among the deposition cancel bills, the deposition rejected bills, and the dispensing bills, untaken bills that have not been taken out from the depositing/dispensing unit; and a control unit that determines whether an unrecognizable bill is present or not when the untaken bills are present which have not been taken out from the depositing/dispensing unit, and that transports the untaken bills to the deposit storage when there is no unrecognizable bill among the untaken bills.
