Abstract:
This invention sets, in advance, a reference (image horizontal reference H) indicating a horizontal line on each image of the surroundings of a device body 10 captured in different directions by first and second imaging cameras 51, 52 installed on the device body 10. A target (horizontal recognition target) which exists in the surroundings and that can be used to recognize the horizontal line is extracted from each of the images captured by the first and second imaging cameras 51, 52. Moreover, the present invention has a configuration for detecting an inclination of the device body 10 with respect to the horizontal plane by detecting an inclination, with respect to the image horizontal reference H, of the horizontal line which is recognized from the horizontal recognition target for each image.
