Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an autonomous mining vehicle capable of suppressing a decrease in work efficiency when dust and sand are generated at a work site. To achieve this purpose, this autonomous mining vehicle is provided with an ambient monitoring sensor that measures a 3D point cloud of the terrain around the vehicle body, wherein a travel route setting device: calculates undetectable areas representing terrain portions that the ambient monitoring sensor cannot measure; calculates, on the basis of the positional relationship between the undetectable areas and the vehicle body, an alternative route along which the vehicle body can travel without passing through the undetectable areas; and updates the planned route with the alternative route.
