Abstract:
Provided is an auxiliary tape cassette which can suitably convey printing tape. The present disclosure is an auxiliary tape cassette comprising a roll of auxiliary tape used for printing a printing tape to be conveyed, and a case which accommodates the roll. The case has a discharge port which discharges the printing tape from inside of the case to outside, and a guide surface which is provided to the inner surface or the outer surface of the case and guides printing tape supplied from outside of the case toward the discharge port. The printing tape is wound around the guide surface so as to form a spiral portion of which a rotation angle around a center axis parallel to the winding axis of the roll is at least 180°. The guide surface has a curved surface which guides at least a part of the spiral portion more on the upstream side in the discharge direction of the printing tape than the discharge port.
