Abstract:
The present invention relates to Bacillus velezensis KY01 and an application thereof in degradation of kitchen garbage. The strain is classified and named as Bacillus velezensis KY01, and is preserved in China Center for Type Culture Collection. The preservation number of the strain is CCTCC NO: M 2020150. The strain can degrade starch, protein, fat and cellulose in the kitchen garbage at the same time, a prepared microbial inoculum can effectively degrade the kitchen garbage, and the degradation product is a bio-organic fertilizer, so that the kitchen garbage can be recycled more efficiently.
