The present invention relates to a backpack-type cooling apparatus for a protective suit and, more specifically, to a cooling apparatus for transferring cold air into a protective suit worn by a user while moving together with the user. The cooling apparatus has: a protective suit body having formed thereon a cold air inlet port, through which cold air flows in, and an external discharge port for discharging the air inside to the outside; a cold air supply part for supplying cold air to the protective suit body; and a connection hose for transferring the cold air from the cold air supply part to the protective suit body. The cold air supply part is connected to a protective suit to be worn by a medical practitioner performing preventive measures against epidemics or an infection test, and the cold air generated from the cold air supply part is supplied to, circulates in and then discharged from the protective suit, thereby adjusting the temperature inside the protective suit as well as supply air to maintain a refreshing internal environment. The cold air supply part is formed into a backpack type to enhance mobility.
