Abstract:
This ball screw is provided with: a screw shaft (2) having first screw grooves (2a) provided to the outer peripheral surface thereof; a nut (3) having, formed on the inner peripheral surface thereof, second screw grooves (9) which face the first screw grooves (2a); a plurality of balls (1) accommodated in a helical passage formed by the first screw grooves (2a) and the second screw grooves (9); and at least 3 ball-circulation members (5, 6, 7) which are each attached to the nut (3), and which each form a circulation path linking the helical passage in two places. At least one of the ball-circulation members (6) is disposed in a position in a peripheral direction which is different to that of the other ball-circulation members (5, 7). As a result, the load distribution in the ball screw is made uniform, and stress concentration generated in the balls at specific positions can be reduced.
