Abstract:
A base material (1) covered with a decorative plate, comprising a decorative surface (3) and a plate material, the plate material being located on the decorative surface, covering grooves being arranged on the plate material, surfaces within the covering grooves being stepped. The plate material uses the stepped surfaces to form a load-bearing section, the load-bearing section being used during bending to ease the force when the decorative surface bends. A right angle or even an acute angle may thus be formed when the decorative plate bends. The decorative plate alters traditional veneer coverings, and the base material is directly covered with the decorative plate. The decorative surface may be painted via a roller coating process, and a spray painting process may be mechanised in batches, thereby increasing the convenience of furniture processing.
