Abstract:
A base station for storing a ground cleaning robot, and a ground cleaning robot system, relating to the field of household appliances, capable of detecting a foreign object in the base station, and preventing a foreign object from entering the base station when a ground cleaning robot works. The base station for storing a ground cleaning robot comprises: a main body (1), the main body (1) being provided therein with an accommodating cavity (11) used for accommodating a ground cleaning robot, and the main body (1) being provided with an opening (12) for the ground cleaning robot to enter the accommodating cavity (11); a shielding mechanism (2) mounted on the main body (1), the shielding mechanism (2) being capable of shielding the opening (12) so that the opening (12) has an open state and a closed state; and a detection mechanism, the detection mechanism being capable of detecting whether there is a foreign object in the accommodating cavity (11), the detection mechanism comprising a transmitting unit (31) and a receiving unit (32), and the receiving unit (32) being used for receiving a signal sent by the transmitting unit (31) and passing through the accommodating cavity (11).
