Abstract:
A bathtub apparatus equipped with: a bathtub 12 having a placement surface section 28 on which a seat member 16 which partially covers the tub 24 from above is to be placed; a position-determining structure 18 for determining the position of the seat member 16 on the placement surface section 28; and water discharge instruments 20, 22 capable of discharging water Wb so as to shower a bather H sitting on the seat member 16, the position of which is determined by the position-determining structure 18. As a result, when the bather H is seated on the seat member 16, the bather H is showered with the water Wb discharged by the water discharge instruments 20, 22, while immersing their legs in the water Wa inside the bathtub 12.
