Abstract:
The present application relates to a battery cell, comprising a battery housing, and a plurality of positive electrode plates, separators, and negative electrode plates which are alternately stacked. A separator is provided between a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plate which are adjacent; at least one side edge of a positive electrode current collector extends outward beyond the edges of a positive electrode active material layer and the separator, and the edge of a negative electrode current collector and the edge of a negative electrode active material layer on the same side are shorter than the edge of the separator but are not shorter than the edge of the positive electrode active material layer; the positive electrode current collector extends to be connected to an adjacent battery housing body or end cover, or extends to be connected to a first heat conductor and the first heat conductor is connected to the adjacent battery housing body or end cover; the extension portion of the positive electrode current collector and the first heat conductor are enclosed in the battery housing; the battery housing body or end cover connected to the positive electrode current collector or the first heat conductor serves as a positive electrode heat dissipation surface of the battery; the first heat conductor is made of a thermally conductive material to transfer heat on the positive electrode current collector to the battery housing body or end cover.
