Abstract:

A battery module according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a unit module stack formed from the stacking of a plurality of unit modules in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked; a swelling absorption pad interposed between adjacent unit modules; and a module housing for accommodating the unit module stack and the swelling absorption pad, wherein the swelling absorption pad has a coolant flow path extensively formed in a lengthwise direction.
