Abstract:
A battery module according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a plurality of battery cells; a module housing that accommodates a cell stack including the plurality of battery cells; a sprinkler that penetrates the module housing from one side in the stacking direction of the cell stack; and a thermal expansion block disposed in an empty space within the module housing so as to thermally expand according to an increase in temperature inside the module housing.
