Abstract:
The present invention relates to a battery pack comprising a means for preventing a fire or heat from propagating to adjacent battery cells when an abnormality such as a fire or heat occurs in a battery cell, the battery pack comprising: a plurality of battery cells; a case for accommodating the plurality of battery cells; an energy discharge means for discharging the energy of the battery pack if an abnormality occurs; and a fire extinguishing means, which releases aerosol at the operating temperature or higher to extinguish flames that are generated inside the battery pack.
