Abstract:

Disclosed is a battery pack in which the risk of secondary ignition or explosion is reduced. The battery pack, according to the present invention for achieving the above purpose, comprises: at least one cell assembly having a plurality of secondary batteries stacked in one direction; a module housing having an internal space that accommodates the at least one cell assembly; and a spacer member interposed between the plurality of secondary batteries, and configured to pressurize in between the plurality of secondary batteries in both directions such that an interval between the plurality of secondary batteries increases when the temperature of at least one of the plurality of secondary batteries is greater than or equal to a predetermined temperature.
