Abstract:
A battery pack and a vehicle. The battery pack comprises a first separator (31), a battery row (41), and a protection member (43). The first separator (31) is located between two adjacent batteries (411) along a first direction (W) in the battery row (41), and an upper surface of the first separator (31) is lower than an upper surface of a top cover (411a); a recess (S) is formed between the battery row (41) and the first separator (31); the protection member (43) comprises a first protection part (431) and a second protection part (432); the first protection part (431) covers all explosion-proof valves (411b) of the battery row (41), and a passage (P) is formed between the first protection part (431) and an upper surface of the battery row (41); the passage (P) is used for guiding a fluid to flow along the first direction (W) and is provided with an opening (O) facing downwards; the second protection part (432) closes the part of the opening (O) directly facing the recess (S). By providing the second protection part (432) to close the part of the downward facing opening (O) of the passage (P) directly facing the recess (S), a fluid generated due to thermal runaway can be effectively prevented from flowing into the recess (S), directional emission of the fluid of thermal runaway is reliably implemented, and the safety performance of the battery pack is improved.
