Abstract:
This battery pack comprises a battery module and a pack case that defines an accommodation space. The battery module has a plurality of secondary batteries arranged in one direction and one or more heat insulation sheets arranged between the adjacent secondary batteries. Each of the secondary batteries has an electrolytic solution, an electrode assembly, and a battery case. Each of the heat insulation sheets has a base material made of a metal foil or a carbon sheet and two ceramic heat insulation material layers. The heat insulation material layers are respectively in contact with the battery cases adjacent thereto. The pack case has a case body and a closure wall including a heat absorption layer facing the accommodation space. The heat absorption layer is disposed to absorb radiation emitted from the secondary battery.
