Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to achieve data transmission while supplying power from a battery type power supply device to a battery-driven external load device in a state in which the battery type power supply device is mounted to a battery box of the external load device. A battery type power supply device 100 is mountable to a battery box of an external load device 200, has the shape and dimensions conforming to battery specifications, and can store a compact battery. An output transistor 120 is interposed between a housed battery and an external electrode terminal 104, and the opening and closing of the output transistor 120 are controlled by a PWM control unit 154 with a duty ratio corresponding to an instruction received from an external information processing device 300 by a wireless communication unit 152, so that the battery type power supply device 100 functions as a switching power supply. The opening and closing of the output transistor are controlled by a transmission unit 153 in order to transmit data to the external load device through the external electrode terminal. Connection to the output transistor is switched between the transmission unit and the PWM control unit by a connection switching unit 156.
