Abstract:
This bead core is annular and comprises at least one bead wire wound a plurality of times therein. The cross-sectional shape of the bead wire is noncircular. In the axial direction cross-sectional view of the bead core, the bead wire has a plurality of columns formed in the axial direction of the bead core and a plurality of stages formed in the radial direction of the bead core. In the axial direction cross-sectional view of the bead core, the circumference of the bead wire is coated in a resin material and resin material is interposed between each bead wire. This bead core production method is for obtaining bead cores and comprises: a winding step in which at least one resin-coated wire is wound a plurality of times so as to form a plurality of columns in the axial direction and a plurality of stages in the radial direction, in the cross-sectional view in the axial direction of the obtained bead core, said resin-coated wire being one bead wire having a noncircular cross-section and being coated in a resin material; and a joining step in which resin material in resin-coated wire adjacent as a result of winding is joined. This pneumatic tire comprises a pair of bead sections and comprises the bead core in the pair of bead sections.
