Abstract:
After performing a centerless grinding step for grinding a sliding contact surface (10) of an inner ring (3) by relatively rotating the inner ring (3) in a prescribed direction with respect to a grindstone while pressing the grindstone against the sliding contact surface (10), a finishing step for forming grinding streaks on the sliding contact surface (10) in a direction intersecting with grinding streaks formed on the sliding contact surface (10) in the centerless grinding step and/or machining to improve the surface roughness of the sliding contact surface (10) is performed.
