Abstract:
A bearing with a seal is configured so that: the bearing will have an inner ring (2), an outer ring (3), a plurality of balls (5) provided within an annular space (4) formed between the inner ring (2) and the outer ring (3), and an annular seal member (7) for closing an end opening of the annular space (4); the outer-diameter-side end of the seal member (7) will be affixed to the outer ring (3); the inner-diameter-side end of the seal member (7) will be provided with a rubber seal lip (9); a seal sliding contact surface (13) with which the seal lip (9) is in sliding contact will be formed continuously circumferentially on the outer periphery of the inner ring (2); and an oil groove (14) extending across the seal lip (9) will be formed in the seal sliding contact surface (13).
