| CLAIMS 1. bed with two different bed nets (4) joined by at minimum a couple of linear guide (3) to a support frame (1). The support frame is supported by a lifting mechanism (2) joined to the fixed structure of the bed, characterized in that the linear guide (3) permits to movement the two bed nets (4) in, at minimum, two different positions: • a first position where the two bed nets are face by face at one side (14) • a second position where the two bed nets have a few distance between theyself (15) 2. bed according to the preceding claim, with a panel (6) on its support frame (1) with dimension enough to close the gap between the two bed nets (4) when they are in the distanced position (15) 3. bed according to the preceding claims, with, at minimum, of a spring pressure switch, or analogous positioning system (7), mounted on each bed net in order to engage a hole (8) in the support frame, or in another fixed part of the bed, in the point that position the bed net in the face by face position, and that engage a second hole (9) in the support frame, or in another fixed part of the bed, in the point that position the bed net in the distanced position 4. bed according to the claims 1 and 2, with, at minimum, of a spring pressure switch, or analogous positioning system mounted on the support frame or in another fixed part of the bed, in order to engage a hole in the bed net, in the point that position the same bed net in the face by face position, and that engage a second hole in the bed net in the point that position the same bed net in the distanced position 5. bed according to the preceding claims, with mounted on each bed nets (4) at minimum a couple of folding legs (10) on the external edge of each bed net. | AMENDED CLAIMS received by the International Bureau on 22 Octobre 2020 (22.10.2020) [Claim 1] Bed with two different single bed bases (4), each one joined by at minimum of a couple of linear guide (3), oriented along the transversal direction of the bed, to a support frame (1), that is supported by a commercial lifting mechanism (2) joined to the fixed structure of the bed, characterized in that the linear guides (3) permits to movement the two bed bases (4), lying in the same plane, in, at minimum, two different positions: • a first position with the two longitudinal closest edges of the bed bases in contact (14) and with the transversal edges of the bed bases aligned; • a second position with the two longitudinal closest edges of the bed bases distanced between theyself (15), and with the transversal edges of the bed bases always aligned. [Claim 2] Bed according to the preceding claim, with a panel (6) on its support frame (1) with dimension enough to close the gap between the two bed bases (4) when they are in the distanced position (15). Technical Field
The " Bed mechanism to transform a double bed in two single beds and vice versa " wants to improve to the advantage of a storage bed the possibility to easy change the bedroom configuration from a double room in a twin room and vice versa, in order to quickly satisfy the customer requirement.
Background Art
The storage bed has a great volume for the storage of dresses, bedding, etc, useful to increase the space of a wardrobe or in place of it, taking advantage of the volume under the bed that usually is not used.
The lifting of the support frame with the bed nets by the bed mechanism give the access to the below compartment. A gas actuator permit the lifting of the bed with a moderate force.
The lifting device of the bed net structure is widespread in the market, and already patented (ITVI20110144A1). This component is not object of this invention, but just used as other commercial parts. This kind of bed is of a predefined size (single, twins, king etc), but for its heavy weight and its great dimensions can not easy moved.
For this reason its diffusion in touristic facilities, o where is necessary to change quickly the type of bed, can be difficult.
1 A solution realized to movement the two bed nets has been patented in the 1907 in the US (US866954A), but without the storage space under the bed it is useless, because there are not advantages in respect to have two traditional single bed and put them adjacent if necessary.
Disclosure of Invention
The "Bed mechanism to transform a double bed in two single beds and vice versa" permits to quickly transform a storage bed in a double bed or in two single beds, giving an advantage specially in the accommodation facilities, where is possible to change the typology of the room in order to satisfy the customers requirement, and at the same time maintaining the storage space under the bed, allowing savings on the purchase of wardrobes.

Best mode for Carrying out the Invention
In the follows is descript a constructive solution, shown in the drawings attached. This solution must be considered just as an applicative example of this invention, and not as the unique solution. Referring to the Fig. 1, the " Bed mechanism to transform a double bed in two single beds and vice versa" is realized with a rigid support frame (1) on a storage bed mechanism (2), already in the market and not object of this invention.
On the support frame must be installed a couple of linear guide (3) for each bed net, that connect the support frame to the bed nets (4). In the Fig. 1 is shown only a bed net in order to simplify the description of the various components.
In this way the bed nets can be slide away or approaching until to a face to face disposition. On the support frame been realized a support (5) for a panel (6) that close the space between the two bed nets when their position is the double bed configuration (spaced nets).
Referring the Fig. 2, a spring positioner (7), or an analogue device, locks the bed nets in the twin bed position (spaced nets), engaging the hole (9), or in the double configuration (face to face net), engaging the hole (8), in order to avoid the movement of the nets during the normal use of the bed.
Referring to the Fig. 3, below each net has been installed a couple of hinged leg (10), already in the market and not object of this invention, that can be in the open position (11) or closed (12).
Referring to the Fig. 4 a screwed foot (13) has been positioned at each corner of the nets, in order to give a support between the nets and the support frame when the nets are in the double configuration (face to face nets) (14) or, as shown in the Fig. 5, in the twin bed (spaced nets) (15). This solution avoids the overload of the linear guides during the normal utilization of the bed.
The functioning of " Bed mechanism to transform a double bed in two single beds and vice versa" is descript in the follows.
The initial configuration is, as example, the double bed (Fig. 6).
The following steps must be done to change the bed in the twin beds configuration:
1. lifting the bed mechanism (Fig. 7)
2. sliding open of the bed nets (Fig. 8) 3. opening of the hinged legs (Fig. 9)
4. let down of the bed mechanism (Fig. 10)
Following the steps in the opposite way is possible to back to the double bed configuration.
