Abstract:
Provided is a bias generation circuit wherein a desired bias voltage or the like can be established by use of a simple structure. A voltage generation circuit (4) gradually increases or decreases an output voltage (Vout) thereof in accordance with a number of clocks of a given clock signal (CLKin). A clock gating circuit (3) receives, as a control signal, an output from a comparator (2) comparing a reference voltage (Vref) with the output voltage (Vout) of the voltage generation circuit (4) and controls, on the basis of the control signal, whether to give the clock signal to the voltage generation circuit (4). In this way, the output voltage of the voltage generation circuit (4), i.e., a bias voltage (Vbias) is set to a value in the vicinity of the reference voltage (Vref).
