Abstract:
Provided is a bill transaction system which, when working with a bill validator which can handle various types of bills including foreign currencies in a state of being connected to a management server via a communication channel, can reduce risk in working with the foreign currencies when a communication fault occurs. The bill transaction system 100 is connected to a casino management system 2 via a network 3, said bill transaction system 100 comprising a bill validator 201 which can handle various types of bills, and a PTS terminal 700. If a fault occurs in communication with the casino management system 2 (when offline), the PTS terminal 700 causes the bill validator 201 to execute a process of limiting the use of foreign currencies while allowing the use of local bills.
