Abstract:

Provided is a binder resin composition which is for a toner and contains a polyester resin A having a softening point of 120-150°C, the polyester resin A being a polycondensate A of a raw material A containing: an alkylene oxide adduct of bisphenol A; an aromatic dicarboxylic acid compound; a raw material monomer that is at least one among a trivalent or higher alcohol, and a trivalent or higher carboxylic acid-based compound; and an acid-modified product A of an amorphous α-olefin polymer having 4-18 carbon atoms. Also provided is a toner which is for developing an electrostatic charge image and contains said binder resin composition for a toner. A binder resin composition for a toner according to the present invention is suitably used as a toner for developing an electrostatic charge image, the toner being used for developing a latent image formed, for example, in an electrostatic charge image developing method, an electrostatic recording method, an electrostatic printing method, etc.
