Abstract:
Provided are: a device for producing fuel, using animal and plant oils as raw materials, which is usable in a fuel-injection device such as a boiler or a diesel engine, is highly reliable, is suitable for energy-saving at low cost; and a fuel production method using the same device.
The present invention comprises: a raw material oil tank (1) wherein animal and plant oils are stored; a transfer pump (2) connected to the raw material oil tank (1); a primary filtration device (3) connected on the discharge side of the transfer pump (2); a fuel supply tank (4) installed downstream from the primary filtration device (3); primary heating means for heating a stock solution stored in the fuel supply tank (4); a circulation pump (5) connected through a piping (10a) to the fuel supply tank (4); a secondary filtration device (6) installed on the discharge side of the circulation pump (5); a pressure gauge (11) provided on the entrance side of the secondary filtration device (6); a heater (7) installed downstream from the secondary filtration device (6); a water mixing device (8) connected through a piping (10b) to the heater (7); and a pressure adjustment valve (9) provided on a piping (10c) which connects the piping (10a) to the piping (10b).
