Abstract:
The invention relates to a biomass dryer (200) comprising at least one biomass container (210) with an inner volume for receiving flowable biomass (BM) and at least one hot gas line for a hot gas (HG) for drying the biomass (BM). A first section (221) of the hot gas line is connected to the outer face of the biomass container (210) in a heat conductive manner and runs to the line of the hot gas (HG) along the outer face on a base (213) of the biomass container (210). The hot gas line comprises at least one second section (222) which is arranged downstream of the first section (221) in the flow direction of the hot gas for conducting the hot gas (HG) in a horizontal direction. The second section (222) is arranged above the biomass container (210) and is connected to the inner volume of the biomass container (210) in order to exchange gas. The invention further relates to a method (300) for drying flowable biomass (BM) in a biomass dryer (200).
