Abstract:
The present invention relates to a blender capable of detecting whether a lid has been closed by sending an electrical signal through a transparent film. The blender according to the present invention comprises: a container for receiving food; a main body disposed under the container to support the container; a lid detachably mounted on a top surface of the container, and opening and closing an upper portion of the container; and a detection system for detecting whether the lid has been mounted on the container, wherein a mounting step is formed to protrude on a top surface of the main body so as to be stepped upward, such that a bottom surface of the container is mounted on the mounting step. Accordingly, a signal may be easily transmitted between the container and the main body, and the blender can be conveniently used.
