Abstract:
Provided are a blister packing machine capable of further ensuring prevention of problems such as generation of wrinkles due to sagging of a container film, and a blister pack manufacturing method. A blister pack 1 has a container film 3 having formed therein a pocket 2. The pocket 2 is formed in the container film 3 in a softened state by preheating. The pocket 2 is formed in the container film 3 while tension along the width direction of the container film 3 is applied to at least a portion of the container film 3 where the pocket 2 is to be formed. Accordingly, the pocket 2 can be formed in a state where the container 3 is extended in the width direction and sagging of the container film 3 is effectively suppressed. As a result, it is possible to further ensure prevention of problems caused in association with the formation of the pocket 2, such as generation of wrinkles in the pocket 2 or in a portion in the container film 3 to which a cover film 4 is to be attached.
