Abstract:
Presented are a blockchain-based device and method for managing personal medical information, wherein the device and method enable personal medical information in a cryptocurrency transaction service linked with the value of a blockchain-based stem cell service to be safely managed when performing a blockchain-based distributed transaction of cryptocurrency data. The presented device, which manages personal medical information on the basis of a blockchain network, includes: a medical record management module unit which manages a portion of personal medical record information for each user; and a distributed security module unit which stores the remaining portion of the personal medical record information for each user in a safe box on the blockchain network, wherein access to all the data of the personal medical record information for each user is granted on the basis of a multi-signature, and at least a portion of the personal medical record information for each user may be provided for a stem cell-related service.
