Abstract:
This blood purification device 1 comprises: a chamber 27 that is provided in a blood circuit 2 for extracorporeally circulating a patient's blood, and that introduces, to the blood circuit 2, purified plasma obtained by purifying plasma separated by a plasma separator 26 or a substitution liquid for the plasma separated by the plasma separator; a liquid feed line 3 that is capable of feeding the purified plasma or the substitution liquid to the chamber 27; an air introduction unit 9 that is capable of introducing air to the liquid feed line 3; a liquid level adjustment unit 8 that is capable of adjusting the liquid level height inside the chamber 27; and a control unit 7 that, at the end of blood purification therapy, executes a liquid recovery process for feeding the purified plasma or the substitution liquid to the chamber 27 via the liquid feed line 3 while introducing air to the liquid feed line 3 by the air introduction unit 9, and maintaining the liquid level height inside the chamber 27 at a predetermined liquid level height by the liquid level adjustment unit 8.
