Abstract:
The present invention relates to a blower motor for a vehicle air conditioner, and the objective of the present invention is to improve major design factors so as to have excellent cogging torque, ripple current, core loss, and unbalanced electromagnetic force characteristics, and thus excellent motor performance can be maintained. In order to accomplish this objective, the present invention comprises: a motor housing; a plurality of stators provided at intervals on the inner peripheral surface of the motor housing; a rotor rotatably provided on the inner side of the stators; a plurality of commutators provided at the rotational central axis of the rotor; and a plurality of brushes for applying electricity to each commutator, wherein the rotor includes a plurality of slots which are formed at intervals on the outer peripheral surface thereof and a plurality of coils wound around each slot, the blower motor has a 4-pole, 18-slot, and 2-brush structure characterized by four stators provided on the inner peripheral surface of the motor housing, two brushes for applying electricity to each commutator of the rotor, rotor slots for generating rotational torque while respectively attracting and repelling the four stators, and eighteen coil portions wound around the slots, and one or more design factors among the design factors of the blower motor are designed to have a preset value so that a specific specification of the specifications of the blower motor can be maintained at a specific value.
