Abstract:

The present invention provides a blub unit that prevents the insertion/removal force upon inserting/removing a bulb into/from a housing from varying greatly even in cases where there are variations in the thicknesses of base parts, and that can improve workability upon inserting the bulb into the housing. This blub unit (1) comprises: a bulb (2) having a base part (21); a cylindrical housing (3) into which the base part is inserted; and a pair of terminal metal parts (4) that is provided inside the housing and that sandwiches and holds the base part between each other. Protrusions are provided on both surfaces of the base part. The pair of terminal metal parts includes a spring piece (41) that engages with the protrusion (22). The spring piece has a curved part (41A) formed by being bent so as to project toward the base part. When the spring piece engages with the protrusion, the curved part is pressed by the protrusion, and thereby, the tip end part of the spring piece comes into contact with the inner surface of the housing, and, in this state, is made displaceable from the back of the housing toward the opening side.
