A boiler device (1) comprising a boiler body (2) that heats supplied water by burning fuel, a blower (3) that supplies air for combustion to the boiler body (2), a water supply line (6) that is connected to the boiler body (2) and through which supply water is supplied to the boiler body (2), a water supply pump (7) that is disposed in the water supply line (6) and that increases the pressure of the supply water and supplies same to the boiler body (2), and a controlling unit (91) that controls operation of the blower (3) and the water supply pump (7), wherein the controlling unit (91) comprises a blower starting unit (911) that causes the blower (3) to be operated in response to a blower startup request, a water supply pump starting unit (912) that causes the water supply pump (7) to be operated in response to a start water supply request, and a startup controlling unit (913) that causes the water supply pump (7) not to be operated during a first time period T1 from when the blower startup request is received even if a start water supply request has been received and then causes the water supply pump (7) to be operated after the first time period T1 passes.
