Title:
BONE CONDUCTION RECEIVER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/097744
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] The present invention addresses the problem of providing a bone conduction receiver that is capable of transmitting sound with a sufficient sound volume, even when used by a normal-hearing user, while adopting a configuration wherein bone conduction speakers are positioned behind the auricles so as to be less visible from the outside. [Solution] When worn, bone conduction speakers (1) are positioned behind the auricles (20) such that vibrating surfaces (3) of the bone conduction speakers (1) are directly or indirectly brought into contact with the back surfaces of the auricles (20) at said positions in order to cause the auricles (20) to function as diaphragms. Preferably, the vibrating surfaces (3) of the bone conduction speakers (1) can move forward and backward with respect to the back surfaces of the auricles (20) and can rotate in the horizontal direction.
