Abstract:
Processing units 4 to 6 arrayed along a conveyance path for a sheet bundle S are accommodated in a housing 8 together with conveyance units 2 and 3. Windows 10a to 10c are provided at the front surface of the housing, and a variable color illumination unit 17 is arranged inside the housing. A light emission surface (projection plate 18) of the variable color illumination unit is arranged facing the windows. Sensor units 13, 15a, and 15b that detect abnormalities in the operation of the conveyance units and sensor units 14 and 16 that detect abnormalities in the operation of the respective processing units are provided. When abnormalities are detected by the sensor units, when a system error occurs, or when an emergency stop instruction is input, a bookbinding processing unit stops. The color of light emitted from the light emission surface changes to display an operation status of the bookbinding processing system.
