Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a bottom garment, such as work pants appropriate for use with a waist protection belt that securely fastens onto the waist section of a wearer, wherein the waist protection belt can be attached integrally to the bottom garment. The bottom garment has tubular sections in a rear surface section of a waist periphery portion and on the inside of the bottom garment, and it takes little time for the wearer to finish attaching the waist protection belt to the tubular section. The means for solving the problem is a bottom garment having a waist periphery portion. The bottom garment has tubular sections in the rear surface section of the waist periphery portion and the inside of the bottom garment, the tubular sections comprising a bottom garment body cloth and a sheet that is different from the cloth, or a sheet that is different from the bottom garment body cloth. The tubular section is disposed so that the axial direction thereof is approximately parallel to the waist peripheral direction of the waist periphery portion. A single slit is provided in an approximately central section of a front portion of the tubular section. The slit is installed so that the longitudinal direction thereof is approximately parallel to the height direction of the wearer. The ratio (W2/W1) of the longitudinal-direction width (W2) of the slit to the width (W1) of the tubular section is 0.70-1.00.
