Abstract:
The invention relates to a paper carrier rope (1) which is braided from a plurality of textile subunits (2, 2', 2''), wherein each subunit contains a plurality of twisted yarns (3) made from multifilament yarn. The rope carrier according to the invention is characterized in that the titre of at least part of the twisted yarns, preferably of all the twisted yarns, is in each case at most 5000 dtex, and in that the twist rate of at least part of the twisted yarns, preferably of all the twisted yarns, is in each case at least 150 twists per metre.
