Abstract:
This brake control device comprises: an electric pump connected to a reservoir; a pressure regulating valve for adjusting a brake fluid, discharged by the electric pump, to a regulated fluid pressure and then supplying the fluid to a rear wheel cylinder via a rear wheel servo fluid channel; a master unit having a servo chamber for conferring an advancing force to a master piston via the regulated fluid pressure, and a master chamber that is fluidly separated from the servo chamber by the master piston, is connected to a front wheel cylinder, and that confers, to the master piston, a retreating force opposing the advancing force via the fluid pressure of the front wheel cylinder; an input unit having an input chamber where volume change occurs in accordance with the operation of a brake operation member, and a simulator that confers an operating force to the brake operation member via the movement of the brake fluid from the input chamber; and a controller for controlling the electric pump and the pressure regulating valve.
