Abstract:
A brake device (100) comprising a coupling member (35) for coupling end parts (31) of a pair of linking arms (30), an actuator (20) attached to the coupling member (35) for pushing and retracting an output member (21), a lever (40) that pivots by the pushing and retracting of the output member (21), the lever (40) being coupled to the output member (21) in a pivotable manner, and a booster unit (50) provided to at least one of the end parts (31) of the pair of linking arms (30), the booster unit (50) boosting power transmitted by the pivoting of the lever (40) to pivot the linking arms (30) about a supporting portion (32) as a fulcrum.
