Abstract:
Provided is a brake device, in which braking and release of a disk is accomplished by causing a spring device to move a rod that has a lining at the tip thereof, wherein a cylinder tube of a pressure control unit is disposed adjacent to an accumulator unit that accumulates a compressed fluid. When the disk is released, the pressure control unit opens a first control valve and closes a second control valve so as to allow the compressed fluid in the accumulator unit to flow into the pressure control unit via a first outflow/inflow opening, thus moving a pressure-receiving piston to an open position. When the disk is braked, the pressure control unit closes the first control valve and opens the second control valve so as to allow the compressed fluid that has flowed into the pressure control unit to be released into the atmosphere via a second outflow/inflow opening, thus returning the pressure-receiving piston to a braking position.
